Age: 0–3 years
Read time: 1–2 minutes
Setting: Pippa’s cosy room
Theme: Body awareness, sounds & bedtime calm
Pippa Puppy woke up.
Sniff, sniff.
Pippa tilted her head.
Her floppy ears went flop-flop.
“Where is Pippa’s nose?”
Can you touch your nose?
Pippa looked under one paw.
Soft paw.
No nose.
Pippa looked under two paws.
Soft paws.
No nose.
“Where is your nose?”
Pippa looked behind her ears.
Flop left.
Flop right.
Where are your ears?
Can you touch them?
Pippa sniffed.
Sniff, sniff.
“Funny,” said Pippa.
“I can sniff!”
Pippa padded to the mirror.
Tap, tap, tap.
Two eyes.
Two ears.
One nose.
Right there.
Boop!
Can you boop your nose?
Sniff like Pippa.
Sniff, sniff.
Pippa’s tail went wag-wag.
Night-night, nose.
Sleepy thought: A little nose, two soft ears, and one gentle sniff can make a cosy bedtime game.
